The most important question is whether there is a practical benefit from axislike bees? Alas, the answer to this question is not very encouraging. Wasps don't give honey. Although they love sweet syrups and pollen, they do not cook sweets in their combs.

How honey is made

Each bee has its own purpose. Honey is made from nectar. The process is gradual.

Stage 1: nectar collection

The nectar bee puts the collected nectar into the honey stomach and brings it to the hive.

Stage 2: chewing

In the hive, the worker bee takes nectar from the collector and processes it with her saliva.

Stage 3: moving

After the splitting process, the honey is transferred to the honeycomb.

Stage 4: preparation

Honey needs the right amount of moisture to cook. The bees flap their wings to get the right consistency.

Stage 5: preparation

When the consistency is almost perfect, the honeycombs are sealed with wax and left to mature.

I am familiar with wasps from personal experience. More than once I found their paper houses on the site. Often suffered from bites. But these striped animals are not always harmful.

In nature, everything is arranged correctly and correctly. Therefore, all types of insects and living beings in general have their own purpose. Wasps also seem to have their place in the ecosystem. There are benefits from them, although they bring a lot of harm.

What are the benefits of wasps. Hardworking wasps are not as harmful as they are thought to be. They benefit:

  • predators regulate the number of harmful insects;
  • pollinate plants, though not like bees;
  • are used in medicine, more often in folk medicine, but also in traditional medicine.

Harm from wasps. Insects do a lot of harm. It includes:

  • hazardous, allergic bites;
  • spoil fruits and berries;
  • attack bees;
  • they carry infections and bacteria on their paws;
  • place houses near people, which is fraught with bites.

Conclusion

Despite the fact that the wasps do not cook honey, they love it very much. Therefore, bees sometimes need to be protected from striped counterparts. They do not carry honey, but they have other useful activities.
