Gorillas are the largest primates on earth. We classify them as hominids. They are peaceful animals that spend time in family groups. We classify them as hominids because they have a lot in common with us. They are characterized by high intelligence, a tendency to walk upright, and the ability to make tools. Despite the fact that these are large and strong animals, they are in danger of extinction.

Gorillas live in the tropical forests of Africa. We can find them in two separate areas.
